Michelle began her education at AACC receiving two associates degrees then Towson University where she studied Pre-med. However, this was just the beginning of her journey as a life-long learner. Michelle pursued a career as a FireFighter/Paramedic/HazMat Tech with Baltimore City and was later medically retired from BWI Airport Fire and Rescue Department in 2005. Her career ending injuries led her to embrace chiropractic care, CranioSacral Therapy and massage therapy after learning from a second opinion neurosurgeon that surgery would be final and he suggested a holistic route for her injuries first. Through these holistic modalities, she was not only able to fully recover from herniated discs, scoliosis and the health issues that were caused by them, but it also catapulted her into her CranioSacral certification, therapeutic bodywork career as a practitioner and advocate for self-care. She started her new career as a member of AMTA in 2006,  launching Vital Harmony Therapeutic Bodywork. Her vision was to open a holistic center where she can empower, motivate, and inspire others to be their own advocate for self-care as she was lucky enough to be introduced to before irreversable choices. This vision was realized in 2018 when Michelle became the owner with her husband of Vital Fitness Holistic Center in Severna Park, Maryland.

Currently, she specializes in chronic illness and pain with craniosacral therapy and PTSD trauma with advanced orthopedic body work. Additionally, Michelle is a holistic health coach, meditation specialist, certified yoga intructor and certified master personal trainer. She leads local and international study groups for concussions, menopause and to assist others to successfully prepare for the craniosacral therapy certification exam, through Upledger Institute. Concurrently, also leads local and international book clubs related to health and wellness. Michelle used Vital Fitness Holistic Center as a vehicle for starting a chapter of the Holistic Chamber of Commerce and served as the President for three years.  Currently, she is focusing her energy by serving as a delegate for the AMTA and growing the awareness for holistic self care internationally and locally. Her journey as a life-long learner continues to evolve as her passion continues to ignite a flame that inspires the masses to understand holistic care and to take
