Amelia Mitchell

Amelia Mitchell, LMT is the co-owner of Alchemy Healing Arts Center in Annapolis. She attended Anne Arundel Community College in 2005 and has been a therapist for ten years. Amelia became an AMTA member as a student. She is glad to be able to serve and give back, with the bonus of getting to know many other great therapists. Also a Delegate, Amelia attended the 2015 Convention in Pittsburgh. The mother of a 15 year-old equestrian, Amelia spends a lot of time at the barn. In her truly free time, you will find her out in nature, knitting, or working on a project around the house.


Robin Anderson

Robin has been a member of the AMTA since she was a student over 10 years ago. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Maryland for the last 9 years and has practiced in a variety of settings including spas, salons, sporting events, health care facilities, and workplace wellness clinics. She is currently the Acting Program Director and Clinical Coordinator for the Massage Therapy Program at CCBC. She also maintains a small private practice in Bel Air. She is a graduate of the CCBC Massage Therapy Program and she has a bachelors degree in Journalism with a minor in Kinesiology. Her previous career was in sports broadcasting in the Washington, D. C., area. She is Board Certified from NCBTMB and has a specialty certification in Ergonomics Assessment. She loves chocolate, Italian food, Bruce Springsteen, and anything Disney! She is excited to be involved with the AMTA in contributing to the growth of the profession and is enjoying being a part of the House of Delegates process.

Cyndy Bartlett

Cyndy Bartlet, LMT, NCBTMB has a background in business, working with Fortune 500 companies, is an accomplished public speaker, and a massage therapist for 20 years. Her company, Health Thru Touch supports the Annapolis area community. With training from Duke University’s Integrated Medical Massage Center and the Mayo Clinic’s Integrated Medical Massage Program, Cyndy provides a uniquely client-tailored integrative-medical  approach, focusing on the balance of body, mind, & spirit.

Sally Mendoza

Sally Mendoza (Burkholder) attended Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC where she graduated in 2009. She has been practicing massage since then and is licensed in both Maryland and DC. Sally lives in New Carrollton, MD and is the owner of Shine Massage and Wellness Studio in Riverdale Park, MD. She has been a member of AMTA since she was a massage student and has been volunteering with the MD Chapter since 2013. Sally finds interactions with other massage therapists invaluable in her career and looks forward to connecting with other AMTA members.
